Select Tilt Tray Group (STTG) was founded in 1994, but our journey began long before that.
Our founder, Chris O’Riordan, has been involved in the towing and transport industry since 1974, starting as a night-time NRMA tow truck driver while working a full-time day job.
From the very beginning, hard work, reliability, and commitment to doing the job properly have been at the heart of what we do.
Over the next two decades, Chris gained extensive experience across every aspect of the industry, from heavy vehicle towing and salvage operations to machinery relocations, interstate transport, and accident recovery.
Working with some of Sydney’s largest transport and towing companies, Chris built a strong foundation of technical expertise and customer-first service. In 1994, Select Tilt Tray Group was born, with a simple mission: Deliver fast, reliable, and safe towing and transport services; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
What started with just one truck has now grown into a trusted, multi-vehicle fleet completing over 150 movements daily across Sydney and regional NSW.
